Evaporation is a cooling process…

or, “I need to sweat a lot more if I’m going to ever feel cool again.”

There comes a time in your life where you need to decide: do I cover up and sweat even more, or should I just suck it in and try to wear as little as possible so as to maximize the ol’ body’s ability to cool itself….that day has come to Lavallette, NJ.

The children and I have had a gorgeous weekend at the Jersey Shore, but now Mother Nature has thrown a wrench into our days of boogie boarding and frolicking on the boardwalk. It’s hot, people. Really hot. Apparently this town (and all the other Shore towns) has not gotten the memo that it’s supposed to be cooler at the shore.

It may be time to go “Clothing Optional.” Avert your eyes (don’t say you weren’t warned).

(And suddenly I understand — a little bit — why Snooki and The Situation are dressed (or not) the way they are…..)

Wait. Did you just say you understand Snooki and The Situation?

Well, it just seems clear to me: the poor little lambs are hot! The humidity and temperature at Seaside has gotten to them, poor things.
But good news here — the heat seems to have broken. Everyone can put their tops back on. You too, Snooki…
